I am a BSP alumna, class of 2019, double-majored in Molecular Cell Biology and Public Health. During my time at Cal I was able to participate in a number of extracurriculars and internships including the Suitcase Clinic, the Summer Health Professions Education Program, Global Brigades at Honduras and the Program for Early Researchers with BSP, amongst others. I am a first-generation college student from Lake Arrowhead, a small town in Southern California. Moving away from home was a difficult transition, and while I had always thought of myself as independent, I struggled with imposter syndrome and moments of self-doubt when I first started at Berkeley.
