As an immigrant and first-generation college student, I know the importance of having a mentor and advisor who is aware of their students' needs. Also, I am mindful of BSP's role in underrepresented students' lives at UCB. So, no matter at what stage of my career, my mission is to be guidance for underrepresented students. I am honored to serve as a BSP Advisor and hope to be a small light for my BSP peers' path, especially in the fields I struggled with the most at UCB.
I graduated from San Diego Miramar College with an associate degree in chemistry and biology and am majoring in Molecular and Cell Biology with an emphasis in immunology. During my time as an undergraduate, I participated in different research opportunities. However, I find the field of immunology very fascinating.
