Research & Internship Programs

The BSP hosts paid undergraduate research and pre-health internship programs for BSP students to gain professional training opportunities.

Top candidates will demonstrate why this hands-on experience is vital to their overall professional development, will convey passion for their research or internship topic, and will possess a willingness to share their experience with the BSP community and others. Students whose participation would significantly benefit from financial support are prioritized.

Selected undergraduate researchers will:

  • Engage in a paid research experience.

  • Receive mentoring by the BSP Research Coordinator and UC faculty or other researchers where applicable.

  • Attend a series of co-curricular research and professional development workshops and seminars.

  • Expand one’s personal and professional community network among peers.
